It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

I haven't been on here for a little while now but I have been extremely busy with life in general. I have had a chance to make some of my Christmas Cards that I will be taking to markets in the next few months though. I must say I am extremely happy with them all. Some of them are from our kits in the new occasions catalogue and some are cased from other gifted demonstrators.

This one is cased from pinterest and I love how it has turned out. It has a bit of everything, stamping, colouring and embossing.

This one I love and cased from my upline. I love the glittery effect this card has. As you look thru the window it feels as though you are watching the snow fall which is something I have never experienced but is one my to do list.

These are great for all your friends and family or for that special cardmaker in your life as a gift. These cards come in a kit with everything you need to make 18 card (6 of each design)

and finally the last card.  I  love the rolling hills and sleigh against the town and night sky. Reminds me of The Night Before Christmas.

Super Dad

Last week I had a discussion with my upline Chloe and we were discussing Fathers Day cards or man cards in general as lets face it they are tough ;) for those special men in our lives. I liked the idea of a suit card as did Chloe but she went one step further and wanted a super hero card as well, so she went to work creating and came up with the most awesome card so today I went over to hers where she showed me how to make this card. I love this, I think it may be my all time favourite. Thanks Chloe.

So why not email me for this special card for the men in your lives. You can order this card or any of the products from Stampin Up thru me.

Little Black Dress

Every girl/lady needs a Little Black Dress. This year my daughters birthday party was a Glitz and Glamour theme and what's more glamorous than a LBD. These party favours held a Nail Polish for each of the girls to take home. They loved them. These can also be for s lipstick as well.

Nights of Cards

So my family all had other places to be on the weekend so I had a night all by myself which was awesome as I got to make a few cards, I had a play with some new stamps I received Friday so I thought I would share 2 of those with you all.

This first one is a great one for all the skater boys out there. This set comes with the boy and then all added extras including a guitar, skateboard ipod etc. then you just pick what you want the boy to be doing. I LOVE it.. I used embossing and then got to colour in and sponge. So much for colouring in being for kids ;)

This next one is a lovely card I am using for a wedding.  Stamped and embossed in gold and top layer on Vellum. So effective.

Bags of Fun

Over the last few days I have been searching the web for some ideas on gift bags/cards and I stumbled upon Papercraft Button's page She is amazing. Her tutorials are great and easy to follow. I am so pleased with how my gift bags have turned out. I will definately be making more and following this talented lady.

The first is a great one for packaging items such as a bag of sweets or maybe even some jewellery. Great for a boys watch maybe.

Times are changing

Recently we had 2 work colleagues leave, I had too try and come up with 2 different cards as one was for a female colleague that was retiring and the other for a male colleague that moved away.

The card above is a retirement card, as we work in a kitchen at a hospital I thought this would be an appropriate design. Wasn't so sure I liked it at first but then when it all came together I didn't want to give it away ;)

This doesn't have a lot of stamping but really it didn't really need alot as I think if I had put anything else on it would have been too much, sometimes a little goes a long way.

The next is one of my favourites and I love how it turned out. I personalised  it by adding on the inside word bubbles with different sayings he always used. Love the stamp set here and made sure I incorporated Herd of animals in the saying Herd you were leaving!

Kickin it!

This is a great card for all those soccer players out there, so simple to make and so effective. I cased this from another demonstrator but I just love it.

I love this card for boys and for the fact that it reminds me of my Pop also. My Pop played soccer for Australia in the 1940's and anything soccer related reminds me of him as he has been gone for 12 years now. Funny how things trigger memories.

If you would like to make a card like this or purchase any Stampin Up products then shoot me a message.

Hope you kick your goals this week :)

Treat Boxes

I LOVE these.. So simple to make and so effective. They can be used for party favours filled with choccies or lollies or gift wrapping for Jewellery.

I recently went to my Uplines new catalogue launch and this was the make and take she had going. These are made using the Stampin Up Curvy Keepsake thinlits, So easy and quick and look at the result - amazing! Topped off with Stampin Up butterfly thinlits made this box come alive.. I love them, pity my daughters birthday is so far away.

So contact me if you would like to know more about this or any other product from Stampin Up. You wont regret it!

50 and Fabulous

A work colleague recently turned 50 and I was asked to make her card as they all know I love to craft. So here's the result, what do you think? I am very happy how with how it turned out as were my colleagues.

I am loving the new Stampin Up little numbers thinlits, they are easy and great to use. My favourite item I used on this page is the Dress Up framelits as they can be used for so many different ages and reasons, from little girls invites, wedding cards to fabulous 50's birthday cards etc but sadly it is now retired. I also love embossing and as you can see I have embossed the stamp on black cardstock which has really made the card pop!

If you would like to know more about this or any other of my cards or order any Stampin Up products then please give me a call.

Happy Crafting Nic!
